I thank god and my teachers for giving me a chance to participate in the "Beijing Exchange Programme in Cultural and Creative Industry" organized by the New Youth Forum during the Christmas holiday.

On 22/12, I went to Beijing with my teammates via a whole day train journey. I used to think that staying on the train for a whole day was terrible but somehow, it turned out to be a comfortable journey. During the journey, I played and chatted with my friends about arts and our dreams. It was then that we started to develop our friendship.

Moreover, I had a deep feeling about these few days because the journey has enriched my cultural knowledge and my creativity in arts. The most unforgettable activity was sightseeing in Beijing where I saw many buildings whic were built in traditional Chinese style. I had an interview with some old Beijing people. I asked them about their views on the invasion of foreign culture. Surprisingly, their answer was not what I had expected. They thought that there is no invasion of foreign culture. They said that if the Chinese wants to develop 'Chinese' arts better, it is necessary for them to learn more from foreign countries. After the interview, I learnt a lot. Besides, I found that Beijing people are very nice and friendly.

I also joined a Christmas party one night. I had a great chance to have a talk with a Beijing film director. He encouraged me to go for my dream. His sharing has helped me to enhance my confidence in achieving my dream.

During the visit, I gained friendship, experience and knowledge. I believe I am not the frog in the shallow well anymore.

感謝神，今年的聖誕節我有幸被老師挑選參加由新青年論壇舉辦的「2011北京創意文化產業交流團」。這是我第一次獨自出門到異地過節。

12月22日，我跟一群剛認識的團友乘火車到北京去，需時一天。一天的火車之旅加深了我跟團友的關係，還不停交談彼此對藝術的見解，甚至理想。旅程有了好的開始。

在這七天的北京之旅中，每一天也是充實而有意義的。12月25日當天的北京遊蹤和聖誕派對至今仍記憶猶新。那天各組自擬活動，並與途人做訪問。在遊蹤期間，我目睹以中國亭台樓閣的建築特色興建西方的星巴克咖啡室。由於記起通識課上討論到的「文化侵略」，所以我便訪問那些老北京人對西方文化的感受是如何。意料之外，他們倒認為這是中西文化交融的現象，並認為中國的藝術若要進步，少不免需要吸取外國的藝術知識。訪問結束後，不單擴闊了自己對中國的文化認識，更讓我感受到老北京人是多麼的平易近人。

晚上的聖誕派對並非是一般的派對。因為能與北京大學生交流和慶祝是多麼的難得。我鼓起勇氣跟就讀北大電影系的導演暢談對戲劇的看法，他對電影的熱誠，增加了我對實踐夢想的信心。這真是我最大的聖誕禮物。

這次的交流團，我得到的不單只是永久的友誼，和難忘的經歷，還汲取不少中國藝術文化的知識。我深信我再不是「井底之蛙」，也不是「空有理想不實踐」的小子，夢，是敢想、敢作！
