5B To Man Long

During the summer holiday, I got the school funding to join a course held by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The course was named 'The Junior Entrepreneur Programme'.

The course lasted for 10 days with different lessons and activities for us to learn how to be a successful entrepreneur. On the first day, I went to PolyU alone, I felt excited and nervous because I was going to meet many new people and things.

I think the greatest gift of the 10 day course is not only knowing how to be a successful entrepreneur, but also the new friends I met. Friendship is always the most important thing to me. After the end of the course I was even more established to this belief. I never felt lonely during the course. I have built a good friendship with other classmates. We had memories full of passion and happiness. We played and worked hard together and now, our friendship sustains.

I would like to thank the school and the teacher's support and funding so that I have this valuable chance to step out of my own world to broaden my horizons. I also strongly suggest my schoolmates to join different activities to enrich themselves.

在剛過去的暑假裏，我得到校方的資助，參加了由理工大學舉辦的「青少年企業領袖訓練計劃」課程，使我獲益匪淺。

課程為期十天，每天都有不同的課堂或者活動讓學員參與，學習成為「未來企業領袖」。還記得第一天硬着頭皮隻身前往理工大學的時候，內心既帶有點興奮，同時又帶點糾結。「興奮」是對未來十年所有新鮮事物的好奇，「糾結」是因為即將要踏入一個完全陌生的圈子。

參與這個課程最大的得着並非如何成為出色企業家，而是在十天內結識的朋友。友誼對我而言一直是生活中最重要的一部份，完成整個課程更加令我確立這個信念。在短促的十天中，我不再感到陌生，我和其他共三十位學員建立了一份深刻的友情，我們有過許多充滿激情、充滿歡樂的回憶，有過嬉戲玩樂，埋頭苦幹的時刻。直至現在，我們一直還有聯絡。

或許看到這裏，你會質疑我：拿學校寶貴的資助，就讓我外出結交朋友？我會告訴你，請不要吝嗇身邊的每一位朋友，因為他們將會是幫助，陪伴你我走過一生的朋友。我記得課程中一位來自新加坡的企業家分享說：「儘管去結交朋友，擴闊你的社交圈子，也請你不要吝嗇你的朋友。你在這裏結識的每一位朋友，都擁有潛力，幫助成就未來的你。所以，結交朋友，更要珍惜朋友，這是一個成功的企業家必備因素！」這一段話，就足以證明，結交朋友，建立友誼，豈是玩樂嬉戲之事？

最後，我不忘再次感謝校方和老師的支持，使我擁有如此難得的機會，走出自己的圈子，認識外面的世界，我亦鼓勵我校的同學多參與各類型活動，不斷充實自己。
