A group of seven students representing our school has participated in the leadership training programme 2010 and won many awards.
1) First Runner-up in the Inter-school Project Competition about jobs and roles.
2) Ho Wing Ching Stella from 7A and Ching Ho Fei from 7B won the Champion in the "Adventure training competition".
3) Due to their excellent performance in the training programmes, Ho Wing Ching Stella and Law Wai Lun were selected as the representatives to join a six-day exchange tour to Vietnam during the summer vacation.

I feel honored to be one of the 20 school representatives selected to participate in the Vietnam trip.
I have never thought about winning this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity at the beginning of the selection process as I did not think I am competent enough. Not being satisfied with my performance in the first two interviews and not being able to go for the training camp, I guessed my chance of standing out from the crowd would be slim. However, with good preparation and my determination to succeed, my performance in the last round of selection procedure was exceptionally good. Finally, I was selected as a school representative to the trip – one that will be unforgettable in my lifetime.

Before departure, I was not ready to go for a service trip, nor was I well-prepared for such overseas trip.
On the day of our departure, my attitude changed, however. I began to realize that my mission in this trip is to serve others. It is not a trip for sightseeing and fun. This feeling became stronger and stronger upon our arrival in Vietnam and during my service in Vietnam. Vietnam is a place inspiring me to learn what real responsibilities are.

分享 7A 何榮靜
我非常榮幸能參與這次越南之旅，與其餘二十多位香港學校代表一同往越南進行交流。
先要感激越南YMCA的義工，多謝他們由我們一踏足越南起數天相伴，為我們安排一切。到了工地，即當地的一間小學，校內只有三個課室。我們的工作分別是重髹窗花及重鋪地面。重髹窗花看似是一件非常簡單的工作，卻考起了大家。我們先要用沙紙磨去生鏽部份；上油時一方面要好好善用油漆，另一方面要確保另一位同學及地方的整潔。重鋪地面可謂一件辛苦的工作，因要在烈日下合力運沙泥，可是大家都沒有半點怨言，這是非常值得欣賞的。
另一個主要工作是教當地小學生英語。當地兒童的英語水平極低，就連最基本的英文字母也不懂，因此大家都需要就局限而更改早前的計劃，一方面要配合當地學童的程度，另一方面須與當地的老師、義工配合……從中大家都學懂了隨機應變。
當中令我印象最深刻的是最後一夜的晚會。感謝大家的努力，不然晚會不會這麼成功、美滿。這個晚會可算是花上最多時間準備的一個，單是排舞都用上了數天，由細節上的安排到排舞，都由大家一手一腳策劃。當中亦曾有意見不合等等問題出現，但到最後大家都能以大局為重，協力完成，而我們亦樂在其中。

我本懷著輕鬆的心情去參與是次越南服務團。可是甫抵步後，我的態度改變了。
在第二天，我們要到一個學校工地裡服務，我是毫不留力的。雖然在工作中弄傷了手，但心裡卻增添一份滿足，那是付出後的滿足和充實。
到第五天，我們與越南基督教青年會合辦了一個文化交流晚會。我本想在會中宣揚中國文化。可惜，表演的是西方舞蹈。使我感到安慰的是，當中有一個中國舞表演環節，還得到了當地人的高度評價。在表演環節過後，我們與當地人玩得十分投入，是平生從未有過的興奮與激情。
這六天不單是一個服務團，也是一個了解越南的體驗團。我們是物質富有的一群，而越南人卻是精神富有，這就是兩地的不同。
