Some S2 students participated in the trial run the STEM Teaching Kit on Testing and Certification organised by Hong Kong Baptist University. In the workshop, students collected the bacteria samples from different area in the campus, analysed the amount bacteria in environmental samples by plating method, as well as evaluate the effectiveness of different sanitizing products.
Eight 1B students were leaded by CCS to join Young Inventor Competition – Steamboat organized by Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMECHE), the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, Mechanical, Marine, Naval Architecture & Chemical Division (HKIE, MMNC Division), and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
Moreover, four bright S2 students were chosen to join Scientific Wallchart Competition 2018 held by The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups.

Science Talk about Force for all S2 students was held on 16 Mar 2018 after school. The speakers of the Talk were committee members of Science Club.
A visit to Science Museum was held on 9 Mar 2018 for S2 students.
A visit to Wetland Park was held on 29 Jun 2018 for S1 students.
All S1 and S2 students participated in 'Portable experiments' organized by Science Club in September. They were asked to do three experiments about Physic, Chemistry and Biology and finish a worksheet. The worksheet was handed in as one assignment of Integrated Science.
Visit to Wetland Park was arranged to S1 students on 21/3/2016 and visit to Science Museum was arranged to S2 students on 4/7/2016. After the visits, students were asked to finish a worksheet. The students showed excited about the visits.
S.2 students visited the Hong Kong Space Museum on 29th March, 2014. The activity is to promote students’ all around development, broaden their horizon and help them accumulate first-hand experience beyond routine lessons. Students enjoyed watching the Sky Show "Dawn of the Space Age" re-lives the excitement of the early days of space exploration and chronicles the major milestones of the space age inside the Stanley Ho Space Theatre.
Our S1 students visited Hong Kong Wetland Park on 21st December 2013.
Student visited the 61-hectare Hong Kong Wetland Park which demonstrates the diversity of the Hong Kong's wetland ecosystem and gained an opportunity of education on the functions and values of wetland in Hong Kong. Students also visited the themed exhibition galleries which show the importance of wetland on biodiversity, civilization and conservation.
Our S1 students visited Hong Kong Science Museum on 10th July 2013. Students visited a total of 15 galleries which cover a wide range of science and technology topics including light, motion, electricity and magnetism, mathematics, transportation, telecommunication, food science, energy, occupational safety and health and home technology. Students may also learn through direct involvement as many of the exhibits are interactive.
Our Integrated Science teachers had organized a visit to the Hong Kong Space Museum for S.2 students to tally with the curriculum, promote students' all around development, bronnaden their horizon and help them accumulate first-hand experience beyond routine lessons. In order to promote the awareness and participation in nature conservation, our students joined a Chinese White Dolphin (Indo-pacific Hump-backed Dolphin, Sousa chinensis) watching activity organised by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department & Ocean Park Conservation Foundation Hong Kong. In this educational activity, students have to follow the code of conduct for Dolphin Watching and have a chance to view the 'official mascot' of Hong Kong's hand-over ceremony.
Our S1 students visited Hong Kong Science Museum on 7 July 2012. Students visited a total of 16 galleries which cover a wide range of science and technology topics including light, sound, motion, electricity and magnetism, mathematics, life science, transportation, telecommunication, food science, energy, occupational safety and health and home technology. Students may also learn through direct involvement as many of the exhibits are participatory.
For the teacher to use the language to teach more effectively and help students learn more effectively. For the students to minimize the problems of adjusting to the new medium of instruction and to learn the subject content better. Language Learning Support Section, EDB worked with S.1 teachers to introduce related skills/concepts in Integrated Science lesson, integrating language and content.
